Welcome to Our Campsite
Nestled in the heart of the beautiful Périgord, our campsite offers a peaceful retreat where nature and family meet. I’m Lies, your host, and together with my family, we’ve been running this special place for over 25 years. What began as a dream shared with my father has become a cherished haven. Our guests return year after year, not just for the stunning surroundings, but for the sense of belonging they feel here—often leaving with lifelong friendships. We’d love for you to make this your home away from home too.
Accommodation for Every Traveller
Whether you prefer a cosy, rustic experience or something a little more comfortable, we offer a range of accommodation options to suit every need. Choose from our bungalow tents, a "tente Canada", a charming caravan, the "Près du Pommier" mobile home, a spacious family chalet, or traditional tent or caravan pitches. Whatever you choose, you’re guaranteed a peaceful stay.
La Combe: A Green Sanctuary
La Combe is our tranquil oasis—surrounded by lush greenery yet close to local shops and markets. Spend your days basking in the sun, swimming in the pond, or simply enjoying the peaceful atmosphere. Every week, I host a communal dinner for guests to share great food and conversation, while children can run, climb, swim, and play freely. With no bar or disco, the campsite remains calm and serene.
From here, enjoy breathtaking views of the Vézère Valley’s iconic rock shelters. Take a morning jog, a peaceful walk, or stretch after dinner in the nearby forest, where you may even spot deer. The region also offers a wealth of hiking and biking trails, and cycling along the Dordogne’s quiet roads is a true delight. Just a few minutes away, canoe along the Vézère River, visit medieval castles, or explore prehistoric sites that make this area so special.
Mornings at Your Own Pace
Here, mornings are relaxed with no rush. Fresh bread and croissants, ordered the day before, are available for collection from reception. It’s the perfect time for a leisurely family breakfast and to let the day unfold at its own pace.
Whether you choose to stay at the campsite, relax while the children play, or join in one of our organised activities, there’s something for everyone. By 10 p.m., the campsite quietens, ensuring a peaceful night’s sleep for all.
