The campsite

Welcome to Our Campsite

Welcome to our little haven nestled in the heart of nature.

My name is Lies, and I'm your host. Originally from Flanders and a proud adopter of the Périgord, I’ve had the pleasure of running this campsite with my family for over 25 years. What started as a dream with my father has grown into a special place where I’ve added my own touch. Our guests return year after year, not just for the setting, but because they feel at home here—and often leave with lifelong friendships. This is our cherished corner of the world, and we hope it will become yours too.

Our family-friendly campsite offers a range of accommodations for every type of guest: bungalow tents, a "tente Canada," a caravan, the mobile home "Près du Pommier," a large family chalet, and both canvas tents and traditional tent/caravan pitches.

La Combe: A Green Oasis

La Combe is a tranquil, green oasis, yet it’s conveniently close to local shops and villages, each with their own charming markets. Here, you can relax under the sun with a good book, swim in the pond, daydream, or simply listen to the birds sing. Once a week, I host a communal dinner where you can enjoy good food and great company. Meanwhile, the children can run, climb, swim, and jump without disturbing anyone. The absence of a bar or disco ensures peace and quiet for all.

From the campsite, you can admire the iconic rock shelters of the Vézère Valley. Fancy a morning run, a peaceful walk, or a stretch after dinner? The nearby forest is a perfect place to explore, and with a bit of luck, you might spot one of the many deer that roam the area. For those who enjoy outdoor adventure, there are numerous hiking and mountain biking trails nearby. Cycling on the quiet roads of the Dordogne is a truly delightful experience. Just a few minutes away, you can also paddle a canoe along the Vézère River and visit the charming villages, medieval castles, and prehistoric sites that make this region so unique.

Start Your Day at Your Own Pace

Mornings here are relaxed, with no rush. Tents slowly open as everyone wakes up at their own pace. Fresh bread and croissants, ordered the day before, and can be picked up from the reception by the children. Enjoy a leisurely breakfast with your family and let the day unfold at your own pace.

Whether you decide to stay at the campsite and let the children play freely, take time to unwind, or join in one of the organized activities, there’s something for everyone.

By 10 p.m., the entire site is quiet, allowing everyone—adults and children alike—to enjoy a peaceful and restful night’s sleep.
